摘要: Abstract Obstructive sleep-disordered breathing in children is a spectrum of disorders during sleep characterized by snoring and upper airway obstruction. In its most severe form, obstructive apnea, prolonged complete obstruction occurs, disrupting normal ventilation patterns. The hallmark feature the disorder habitual loud snoring. Adenotonsillar hypertrophy common cause breathing. Left untreated, may lead to problems related disruption such as inattention, poor learning, behavioral problems, attention deficit/hyperactivity or more serious morbidity, including growth failure pulmonary hypertension. diagnosis made through thorough sleep-based history physical examination.
