摘要: Background: Assessing health status in survivors of childhood cancer is increasingly important due to improved survival rates. However, there are limited estimates available for this population based on large samples and compared controls. Methods: In a retrospective cohort study, 2152 long-term 2432 controls, aged 5–37, who had survived during or adolescence were the Health Utilities Index Mark III (HUI3). Descriptive logistic regression analyses used assess effect age at diagnosis, type therapy received HUI3 domains.Major findings: More than controls showed deficits dexterity, ambulation, hearing, speech cognition but not vision, emotion pain. The largest numbers reporting excess impairment was found attribute. Survivors central nervous system tumors most likely show impairments across multiple domains. Lastly, commonly exposed cranio-spinal radiation young ages. Conclusions: Seventy-five percent 80% have two fewer impaired attributes. Those that be clinical relevance among diagnosed with bone tumours, those cranial as children. Tools assessing should included prospective trials more clearly contribution reduced status.
