摘要: Abstract In this paper, a general and simple way was found to solve the problem of an arbitrary hole with edge cracks in transversely isotropic piezoelectric materials based on complex variable method numerical conformal mapping. Firstly, approximate mapping function which maps outside into circular is derived after series process. Secondly, assumption that surface electrically impermeable traction-free, expressions for potential, fields intensity factors energy release rates are presented, respectively. Thirdly, under in-plane electric loading together out-plane mechanical loading, influences size, crack length mechanical/electric analyzed. Finally, some particular holes studied analysis. The result shows that, always promotes growth, while may retard growth.
