Preparation and characterization of SnO2 catalysts for CO and CH4 oxidation

摘要: SnO2 catalysts were prepared with the precipitation method by varying pH and SnCl4 concentration. For comparison, another two samples also synthesized sol–gel combustion methods. All of characterized N2-BET, XRD H2-TPR. It was found that CO oxidation activity increases an increase in pH, while CH4 seems unchanged. The change concentration has little influence on for both oxidation. sample relatively higher but similar activity, due to its surface area finer particle sizes. On contrary, displays lowest reactions, extra low inert oxygen species.
