摘要: The limitations of liver biopsy (invasive procedure, sampling errors, inter-observer variability and nondynamic fibrosis evaluation) have stimulated the search for noninvasive approaches assessment in patients with viral hepatitis. A variety methods including measurement stiffness, using transient elastography, serum markers, ranging from routine laboratory tests to more complex algorithms or indices combining results panels been proposed. Among indices, Fibrotest has most extensively studied validated. Transient elastography appears as a promising method but mostly validated chronic hepatitis C performance equivalent that markers diagnosis significant fibrosis. combination both first-line could avoid majority C, strategy deserves further evaluation B HIV-HCV coinfection. also be an excellent tool early detection cirrhosis may prognostic value this setting. Guidelines are now awaited use clinical practice.
