摘要: With the availability of completely sequenced genomes, multilocus scans natural variability have become a feasible approach for identification genomic regions subjected to and artificial selection. Here, I introduce new test statistic, ln RV, which is based on ratio observed variances in repeat number at set microsatellite loci two groups populations. The distribution RV values captures demographic history populations as well variation mutation among loci. Given that associated with recent selective sweep differ from remainder genome, they are expected fall outside neutral values. statistic applied data 94 typed eight non-African African human
