摘要: Flood mapping requires the combination and integration of geomorphological hydrological-hydraulic methods; however, despite this, there is very little scientific literature that compares validates both methods. Two types analysis are addressed in present article. On one hand, maps flood plains have been elaborated using evidence historical data mountainous area northwestern Spain, covering an more then 232 km2 floodplains. other a hydrometeorological model has developed (Clark semidistributed unit hydrograph) Sarria River basin (155 km2, NW Spain). This not gauged, hence was subjected to goodness-of-fit test its parameter (curve number) by means Monte Carlo simulation. The peak flows obtained hydrological were used for hydraulic modeling (one-phase, one-dimensional steady flow) 4 urban stretch river bed. delineation surface areas affected floods since 1918, as well those analyzed subsequent study, reveals high degree reliability flooded with frequent recurrence intervals ( 10 years) underestimates it interval increases, up 80% less floodplain exceptional events (>500 years). Finally, management map put forth combining most reliable results available integrating
