摘要: In discussions of performance enhancement, as in applied ethics generally, it is tempting to think that we can answer the hard ethical questions by discovering boundary lines lie subject matter itself. The hope, here, is could settle an array thorny issues if only could identify fault-lines between, for example, therapy and or between pharmacological identitymanagement and restoration authentic self. And within wider public debate, there are loud voices declaring boundary-lines actually so obvious that self-interested lawyers out-of-touch intellectuals miss them.
