摘要: The first observation of anisotropic diffraction (with a 90|Mo change the polarization diffracted wave) in BaTiO3 from grating recorded by two orthogonally polarized waves, an ordinary and extraordinary wave, is reported. Three possible origins this effect are considered: (i) direct one-step anisotropically spatially oscillating photovoltaic currents, (ii) indirect, sequential gratings, each one incident wave additional due to light-induced scattering, (iii) with vector equal difference vectors conjugated “noisy” gratings. experimental evidence indicates that process contributes most, more than 10% overall efficiency, whereas seems be minor importance.
