摘要: In the search for buried water ice on Mars, radar sounding instruments have unique abilities. Their capacity to resolve glacial structures down kilometers depth has already provided a huge amount of information related Martian glaciers [e.g. 1, 2]. Sounding radars are also relevant tools determine composition surface, since radar-waves reflectivity is sensitive dielectric properties materials. It originality be representative first decameter surface (depending bandwidth), whereas other observations method do not exceed few millimeters. A map from Mars Advanced Radar Subsurface and Ionosphere (MARSIS) been recently presented [3]. Here we present extract SHAllow RADar (SHARAD/ASI) data, results. The SHARAD along-track resolution gives advantage study areas at regional scales. subsurface instrument
