摘要: Abstract Quantification of physical properties fossil fuel fired flames is becoming increasingly important to achieve in-depth understanding and subsequent optimisation combustion processes. This paper presents investigations into the geometrical luminous pulverised coal using an advanced flame monitoring system. The system combines optical sensing, digital image processing computing techniques designed measure most parameters a flame. Experimental trials have recently been conducted on 1 MW th coal-fired test facility. in furnace was visualised continuously imaging then characterised terms parameters. Results obtained over range conditions demonstrate that capable characterising both qualitatively quantitatively. correlations between measured corresponding data, including load, mass flow rate primary air particle size, are identified analysed.
