摘要: A histologic and biochemical comparison of interface membranes around femoral components bipolar endoprostheses (n = 17) total hip prostheses inserted without cement was conducted. The patients' profiles were similar in both groups with respect to age, sex, primary diagnosis, weight, the interval between revision arthroplasty. Macroscopically, marked circumferential abrasion polyethylene insert retrieved cups noted. Histologic analysis revealed significantly larger amounts debris group. from group also produced greater prostaglandin E2 (P <.05). inflammatory associated large may have contributed aseptic loosening osteolysis patients a prosthesis.
