摘要: Abstract Studies of the infrared spectra small molecular ions offer valuable information regarding structures and chemical bonding properties these species. Suitable concentrations for such studies can be obtained by trapping them in dilute solution a rare-gas solid. The characteristics absorptions species trapped various rare gases are surveyed, as factors important ion production identification. Emphasis is given to development application modified discharge configuration which has permitted identification many cations anions. This now also being used primary products some ion–molecule reactions.
