Cardiovascular responses induced by acute video game boxing performance in healthy women

摘要: BACKGROUND: Previous studies suggested that some interactive video games induce cardiovascular responses. However, different styles of have not been investigated. OBJECTIVE: We aimed to evaluate responses induced by game boxing performance in healthy women. METHOD: evaluated ten female sedentary volunteers, aged 20.9 ^ 1.4 years, weight 58.7 8.0kg, height 163.2 5.4cm. All subjects were weighed and measured. Their heart rate, blood pressure lactate levels recorded before after performance. The volunteers played a Sony (Nintendow Wii) using the method, which all for 10minutes without interruption. At end reassessed same parameters mentioned above. RESULTS: we observed highly significant increases production (p , 0.0035) double product (heart rate vs. systolic pressure) was also higher 0.0001). Both indicate increased demands system. CONCLUSION: conclude ten-minute induces similar aerobic exercise. This may be practical form exercise, but care should exercised concerning with disorders.
