摘要: OBJECTIVES Pancreatic ductal epithelia contain an abundance of carbonic anhydrase (CA), and the presence antibodies to this enzyme has been described in autoimmune disorders. We previously found a small amount immunoglobulin G-like material purchased CAII reagents, which led pseudopositive reactions. METHODS determined optimum measurement conditions for detecting anti-CAII antibody using enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay sera from 140 patients with pancreatic diseases. RESULTS Compared prevalence healthy subjects, significantly higher seroprevalence was detected pancreatitis (AIP) (88.9%, P < 0.02), Sjogren syndrome (67.6%, 0.01), alcoholic chronic (45.8%, 0.01). No positive results were obtained among cancer. Moreover, value cancer actually lower than that subjects. CONCLUSIONS The is probably not specific marker AIP because it present at frequency other Nevertheless, may be useful tool differential diagnosis
