摘要: This study sought to evaluate the association between perceived and cardiovascular stress responsivity among subjects with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) Temporomandibular Disorder (TMJ). Eight participants IBS, eight TMJ 16 nonsymptomatic comparison took part in experiment. Participants completed a series of personality mood questionnaires as well laboratory procedure measuring aerobic fitness, responses (i.e., pulse rate blood pressure), while performing stressful tasks Stroop Color Naming Test speech task). Although IBS did not vary significantly from pressure or heart during procedures, reported experiencing more than participants. preliminary due small sample size, results suggest that sufferers may be sensitive others.
