摘要: [Extract] Given ever expanding global trade, the international economy is linked to well-being of major coastal infrastructures such as waterways and ports. Coastal areas comprise about 69% cities world; therefore understanding how aquatic environments are evolving due sediment transport important. This manuscript discusses topics from both modelling observation transport, erosion siltation in estuarine environments, zones, ports, harbour areas. It emphasises particular cases water dynamics high energy system Po River Estuary (Italy), Adriatic Sea, Mokpo Zone (South Korea), Yangtze Shanghai Port, Yellow Sea (near China), Darwin Harbour (Northern Australia). These systems under influence strong resuspension/deposition that driven by different mechanisms surface waves, tides, winds, density currents.
