摘要: Seven highly purified degradation products of penicillin G (PG) were examined with regard to their ability cross-react allergically PG. Guinea pig allergic contact dermatitis was employed as the test system. Three these products, D-benzylpenicillenic acid (BPE), D-penicillamine, and D-alpha-benzylpenicilloic found PG also be capable inducing delayed allergy in guinea pig. BPE cross-reacted particularly intense reactions, other immunologic experiments indicated that introduce identical determinant groups into epidermal proteins. These experimental results correlated previous studies concerning pathways under physiological conditions vitro, chemical reactivities products. Based on data, a schema is proposed which suggests by may react proteins vivo form antigen. The identity specific antigenic antigen suggested. relationship between type immediate man discussed.
