摘要: Purpose To evaluate the impact of radius injector system on viability endothelial cells in Descemet membrane keratoplasty (DMEK). Methods Descemet membranes (DMs) 30 corneoscleral rims were used a paired design and divided into three groups (A, B, C). The right corneas as control (without shooting through after DM preparation) left cornea for simulation implantation step (shooting glass different radii). Group A had diameter 0.5 mm, group B 0.9 mm C 1.4 mm. Prior to preparation, cell count was measured quality assessed. Quantification potential damage achieved by staining with bioassay (calcein acetoxymethyl ethidium homodimer-1) DAPI. Apoptosis evaluated TUNEL (terminal dUTP nick-end labelling) staining. Results The average percentage death ratios 4.9 ± 3.3% (n = 5), 3.7 ± 3.7% (n = 5) 3.9 ± 3.6% no significant difference compared control. apoptotic 0.05 ± 0.05%, 0.60 ± 0.53% 0.15 ± 0.26% A, C, respectively, control. Conclusions Prepared grafts transplantation DMEK procedures may be injected smaller sized up 0.5 mm increase loss. Clinical studies are necessary draw final conclusion.
