摘要: Abstract The study presents data comparing the relatively new tumor metabolic marker Tumor-M2-PK with established markers CEA, CA 19-9 and 72-4 in diagnosis of gastrointestinal cancers. In this prospective histologically confirmed n = 250 colorectal, 122 gastric, 86 oesophageal 24 pancreatic cancer patients were investigated compared 76 control persons without any malignant disease. Tumor M2-PK was measured plasma by an ELISA. determined sera autoanalyser. Significantly elevated concentrations detected suffering from colorectal significantly frequently (47.8%), followed CEA (33.6%) or CA19-9 (30.4%). gastric cancers, sensitivity (57.0%) (60.7%) comparable higher than (45.5%) (23.8%). most (55.8%) (53.5%), (27.9%) (14.5%). patients, sensitivities (87.5%), (72.9%) (33.3%). discrimination power (demonstrated AUC) superior cancers distant metastasis.
