摘要: The purpose of this study is to determine past and future energy efficiency fossil power generation in EU-27. It found that the average for gas-fired increased sharply from 34% 1990 50% 2005 expected increase 54% by 2015 (based on lower heating value). For coal-fired 38% 40% (LHV). improvements are largely determined introduction new generating capacity. amount natural gas-based capacity has strongly last 15 years. share total EU 11% 46% 2015. CO2-intensity fossil-fired decreased 920 g CO2/kWh 720 g/kWh 2005, mainly due a shift coal gas. period 2005–2015 another decrease 630 g/kWh. Total greenhouse gas emissions however 10% 2020.
