摘要: Handling high power loads on plasma facing components is one of the critical issues in developing an economically competitive fusion reactor based tokamak. In this study, we provide a detailed analysis relatively unexplored approach to problem use divertors with poloidal magnetic field structure closely approaching second-order null. We demonstrate that geometry opens up new possibilities for radiative divertors, has favorable effect convective transport, and provides additional control over ELM activity. ideal case where null exactly second order, separatrix near acquires characteristic hexagonal shape reminiscent snowflake, whence name configuration. It can be created by simple set divertor coils situated outside toroidal coils.
