Development and Integration of WWW-Based Services in an Existing University Environment.

摘要: This paper describes the experience and problems solved in process of developing integrating advanced World Wide Web-based services into University Patras (Greece) system. In addition to basic network (e.g., e-mail, file transfer protocol), final system will integrate following set services: a information service, intranet support administrative operations within campus, distance learning by means online teletraining via Web, teleworking facilities, videoconferencing applications supporting collaborative work.
