Lipase-secreting acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas with polyarthropathy.A light and electron microscopic, histochemical, and biochemical study

摘要: A functional acinar cell carcinoma of the pancreas is reported. The tumor was found in a middle-aged, chronic alcoholic whose most persistent complaint polyarthropathy, especially lower extremities. malignant origin metastatic to liver diagnosed pre-mortem by electron microscopy. patient had pancreatic with extensive metastases at autopsy. contained abundant zymogen granules, and histochemical biochemical examination seen contain lipase activity. authors think that electron-microscopy should be used routinely diagnosis exocrine as well endocrine tumors regardless whether specimen obtained surgery or Cancer 33:1002-1009, 1974.
