摘要: Atypical responsivity to social rewards has been observed in young children with or at risk of Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD). These observations contributed the hypothesis reduced motivation ASD. In current study we develop a novel task test reward preference using tablet computer (iPad), where two differently coloured buttons were associated and nonsocial rewarding image respectively. 63 children, aged 14–68 months, without diagnosis ASD took part study. The experimental sessions also recorded on video, an in-built webcam as well external camera. Children found show relative for rewards, indexed by lower proportion touches button image. Greater measured tablet-based was increased use communicative behaviour such eye contact experimenter smile response results are consistent earlier findings from eye-tracking studies, provide empirical insights into atypical
