摘要: It has been suggested that consumption of soyfoods may be associated with a reduction in risk various cancers, including nonhormonally dependent cancers. The purpose this meta-analysis was to examine the relationship between fermented and nonfermented stomach cancer. We searched reference lists English language publications diet cancer studies were conducted Asia or among Asians living United States elsewhere 1966 1999. All analytic epidemiological obtained individual data on intake presented estimates association identified included review. Our pooled analysis 14 yielded an odds ratio/relative 1.26 (95% confidence interval, 1.11-1.43) high such foods. In contrast, our 10 found 0.72 0.63-0.82) these However, further analyses suggest salt fruit/vegetable intake, respectively; are directly risk. almost all we reviewed, possible confounding role salt, fruit/vegetable, other dietary factors had not considered soyfood analyses. conclusion, etiology cannot determined until roles potential confounders, fruit/vegetables, factors, more adequately adjusted for.
