Optimization of double spiral metamaterial for wireless power transfer

摘要: Metamaterials (MMs) have been proposed to improve the performance of wireless power transfer (WPT) systems. However, optimization WPT systems with MM using complex electromagnetic analytical methods and slow finite element simulation become increasingly tedious. A simple approach equivalent circuit method optimize MMs is in this paper. Double spiral metamaterial (DSM) introduced analyzed approach. Furthermore, a detailed process presented considering system level indices (efficiency transferred power) application requirements (transfer distance, maximum misalignment probability alignment). novel figure-of-merit achieve better compromise between requirements. The strategy validated experimental results.
