摘要: Abstract 50% of patients with lepromatous leprosy could not be sensitised to 2,4-dinitrochlorobenzene (D.N.C.B.). However, ten D.N.C.B. non-reactors induced show delayed hypersensitivity keyhole-limpet haemocyanin (K.L.H.). Failure cell-mediated immunity is, therefore, absolute. This is confirmed by the finding small numbers lymphocytes in depleted paracortical areas lymph-nodes from these patients. No difference found reactors and non-reactors, which consistent non-specific failure being relative. It concluded that induction sensitivity a relatively weak indication as compared K.L.H. In leprosy, loss immunity, evidenced ability D.N.C.B., probably secondary infiltration histiocytes, rather than primary event leading development state.
