摘要: Retrograde axonal transport of125I labeled nerve growth factor (NGF) occurs in the adrenergic neurons of sympathetic nervous system rats as well mice. This is saturable, it can be blocked by an excess unlabeled NGF and shows a specificity for biologically active form protein. Other proteins such serum albumin, chymotrypsin or insulin are transported varying, but much smaller, amounts. Although albumin NGF, opposite not true, again suggesting specific mechanism. antibody, injected subcutaneously, prevents retrograde neonatal more mature animals relative resistance latter to action antiserum may related this phenomenon.
