摘要: Secondary agriculture plays a significant role in making positive impact on the country’s economy. It has potential to increase value of primary agriculture. ensures better utilization renewable agro-bioresources either through addition or waste utilization. Nurseries, bio-fertilizers, bio-pesticides, compost, fruit-processed products, agro-tourism, weaving, flavours, and dyes are some avenues secondary By-products from agricultural crops like wheat rice bran, corn gluten meal germ, pulses husk, sugarcane bagasse, if processed appropriately for deriving industrial products could pave way getting economic returns rather using them as livestock feed. Among food crops, major post-harvest losses (30–40%) occurs fruits vegetables; their being rich several bioactive compounds possess great be added polyphenol fibre source synthesis food-grade ethanol, citric acid pectin etc. Wastes floriculture industries can also utilised production value-added such biofuels, bio-ethanol, organic acids, pigments dyes, incense sticks, handmade paper production, sugar syrup. Around world, 80% population is dependent traditional medicine health care needs. The metabolites medicinal plants pharmaceutical properties advancement extraction techniques lead novel range herbal high value. market agro-produce seems naive but opportunistic near future. technologies, equipments, processes would enable enhanced practices giving materials quality, yield, nutrition, convenience. Hence, bioprocessing strong boost economy, societal status environmental protection. In this article we have made an effort understand agriculture, its uplift economy strategies different domains horticulture, plants.
