摘要: OBJECTIVE: It is of considerable theoretical and clinical importance to assess whether childhood sexual abuse a risk factor for the development bulimia nervosa. The authors reviewed scientific literature bearing on this issue. METHOD: Since prospective studies question have not been done, they assessed 1) controlled retrospective comparing prevalence among bulimic control groups, 2) uncontrolled in samples 10 or more subjects, 3) general population, which were chosen match as closely possible methodology available nervosa (i.e., geographic location, age ethnicity interview method, criteria defining abuse).
