摘要: The splitting of the field view (FOV) in polar voxels is pro posed this work order to obtain an efficient description a cone-beam compu ted tomography (CT) scanner. proposed symmetric-polar pixelation makes it possible deal with 3D iterative reconstruction considering number projections and voxel sizes typical CT preclinical imaging. performance comparison, between filtered backproje ction (FBP) maximum likelihood expectation maximization (MLEM) algorithm for CT, presented. It feasible achieve hardware spatial resolution limi t considered pixelation. image quality achieved MLEM FBP have been analyzed. results obtained both algorithms clinical images compared too. Although polar-symmetric presented context imaging, can be applied any other tomographic technique as long scan comprises measurement object under several projection angles.
