摘要: Recent video coding strategies, such as H.264/AVC, incorporate an in-loop deblocking filter in order to reduce the effects of quantization noise. These techniques are limited treating blocky artifacts on smooth regions. In solve this, sparsity-based filtering have been recently proposed for efficient edge and textured areas. More recently, direction-adaptive has also allowed exploit directional features intra encoded pictures. This paper proposes a high-performance deartifacting inter data. work extends Inter frames use it improves performance by adaptively selecting thresholds consistent with noise statistics, local encoding conditions, compression requirements original signal. Thresholds both spatially temporally adapted optimize quality and/or cost. Selected transmitted side information decoder. Experimental results show significant bit rate savings visual enhancement when compared state-of-the- art H.264/AVC codec using filtering.
