摘要: This paper aims at the elastic buckling of multilayered thin-walled conical shells with power-law distributed material properties under axial load and lateral pressure based on experimental study palm trunks. The are assumed to vary continuously in radial direction. Relations analytical approaches for linear response presented by using layer-wise shell theory. behaviors subjected transverse loads investigated. Parametric geometry (relative thickness, relative stiffness cone angle) is performed enhance overall resistance minimize weight. Numerical results show possibility achieve larger load-carrying capacity simultaneously optimizing geometric parameters structure
