Childhood asthma in Brisbane: epidemiological observations

摘要: SYNOPSIS Analysis of hospital admissions for 20 years suggests that there has been an increase in childhood asthma Brisbane. The characteristic seasonal pattern with waves autumn and spring is evident from the second year age continues into adult life. It not explained, although respiratory infections, allergens cold changes probably contribute to it. Unlike adults, children shown February-March, ascribed infections spread at school. Maximal associated a mean temperature 20–21°C. This may be optimal production allergens. Further viral studies asthmatic attacks are desirable.
