摘要: Software plays an ever increasing role in the critical infrastructures that run our cities, manage economies, and defend nations. In 1999, Presidents Information Technology Advisory Committee (PITAC) reported to United States President need for software components are reliable, tested, modelled secure supporting development of predictably reliable systems underscore infrastructures. Open source (OSS) constitutes a viable components. Some believe OSS is more than closed (CSS)-due phenomenon dubbed 'many eyeballs'-but this truly case? Or does give cyber criminal edge he would likewise not have? We explore from perspective discuss what community developers users alike can do increase their trust both open software.
