摘要: Abstract In the period 1995–1999 more than 30 km of new tunnels have been constructed for Madrid Metro. Most them are excavated with EPB shield through stiff Tertiary layers. The paper presents application numerical and analytical solutions to soil deformations measured during these works. About 60 test sections analysed, some including measurement vertical horizontal displacements within ground. values solution parameters (ground loss, tunnel ovalization, volumetric deformation) obtained by fitting movements. variation all geometry type is discussed.
