摘要: The previous chapter discussed some of the key milestones leading to emergence ecosystem approach human health. This evolution occurred in both public health and natural resources management sectors, was buttressed by global initiatives seeking promote sustainable development. Within sector, conceptualization its determinants evolved from a narrow, individualistic biomedical perspective broader, ecological holistic perspective. Similar events sector saw move towards more integrated management, with concerns for taking centre stage. Globally, there have been number drawing attention interdependencies among society, environment well-being individuals communities.
