A Systematic Comparison of Travel-Related Roles

摘要: Academic and professional studies of tourists tourism both need a sound emic or experiential definition the tourist role. In this study, comparison number travel-related roles was conducted using 100-person student sample, data were analyzed with fuzzy set theory multidimensional scaling analysis. The findings indicated that there clear highly interpretible differences among 15 roles. It also demonstrated such an approach to defining role useful for understanding previous perspectives in social science literature on tourism.
