[Urodynamic picture in high spinal cord ischemia, induced by addictive use of cocaine. Report of a case].

摘要: The authors present a case of spinal cord ischemia at level C2 related to cocaine use. neurologic pattern was an anterior hemisection syndrome. Urodynamic assessment performed 6 and 14 months from the neurovascular event. ice-water test (IWT) showed uninhibited bladder cooling reflex, despite areflexic detrusor (at routine filling cystometry). Occult hyperreflexia became overt during following month registered by second urodynamic assessment. Anatomical bases blood supply are discussed. emphasize role IWT in predicting development thus, shock phase resolution.
