摘要: Abstract Calves were either isolated, spatially but not visually, or group-reared for eight months and then kept together. Rank orders based upon competitive interactions similar at 20 months. Almost all animals higher in rank than isolation-reared animals. The most frequent nearest neighbour associations between especially those from the same rearing group. Also calves which had been isolated adjacent pens. Isolation-reared associated infrequently with spent more time alone. Body weight was correlated conditions behavioural measures. Increase, decrease, faster, slower, average gain.
