摘要: Polystyrene (PS)/montmorillonite (MMT) nanocomposite films were prepared by bi-axially stretching compounded and extruded PS/MMT sheets, with an aim to achieve intercalation/exfoliation during compounding improved level of exfoliation orientation stretching. The characterization results support that the expected morphology was achieved, which leads more significant property improvement compared non-stretched sheets. Meanwhile, only marginal deterioration in optical properties observed films. Considering mechanical can be adopted for large scale production, it represents a facile potential mass production method nanocomposites practical applications.
