摘要: Purpose: The study was performed to analyze the prevalence of conjunctival ultraviolet autofluorescence (CUVAF) area in keratoconic eyes and changes caused by UVA-irradiation as a component accelerated corneal cross-linking (aCXL). Methods: group involved 20 patients subjected aCXL surgery one eye. comparative consisted 111 age- sex-matched with healthy corneas. images anterior segment both patient groups were taken using Coroneo camera. In photos before immediately after surgery, 7 30 days following procedure. Results: Nasal temporal (AN+T) significantly smaller compared control (p = 0.0001). Patients third stage keratoconus had higher AN+T 0.0277) individuals lower keratoconus. No statistically significant CUVAF observed primary undergoing aCXL, temporary fast enlargement observed. Conclusions: procedure showed no difference size but such should be strict follow-up order reveal UV-related ocular surface diseases.
