摘要: Abstract A number of studies have indicated the benefits coffee consumption on physical and mental health; however, scientific evidence these effects, in particular to brain function, has not been determined. In present study, we aimed determine caffeic acid nervous system. For this purpose, administered doses 0 or 300 mg/kg for 30 days mice that were otherwise affected. We analyzed survival newly born cells, oxidative stress, inflammatory marker expression, microglial activation hippocampus. found had no effect expression levels neurotrophic factors anti-inflammatory cytokines. However, acid-treated exhibited significantly lower 4-hydroxynonenal, an stress marker, hippocampus, as well fewer activated microglia. Abnormally high microglia accumulation are both considered relate pathophysiology neurological psychiatric disorders. The study demonstrates physiological effects may explain suggested health.
