Asynchronous optical sampling terahertz time-domain spectroscopy for ultrahigh spectral resolution and rapid data acquisition

摘要: We propose a terahertz time-domain spectrometer based on asynchronous optical sampling. The features ultrahigh spectral resolution equivalent to laser mode-locked frequency and rapid data acquisition. proposed method requires no mechanical translation stages for time-delay scanning, hence, overcomes the inherent tradeoff between acquisition time. Time evolution of picosecond pulse with temporal window 12.1 ns is measured directly an oscilloscope using time-scale magnification 764 815. A 82.6 MHz achieved at measurement time 10 s. effectiveness confirmed by comparing it conventional stage-scanning spectroscopy.
