摘要: Clonality testing is a well-established molecular diagnostic technique in the realm of hematopathology. Molecular techniques to diagnose hematological malignancies based on detection clonality have been with us since mid-1980s, seminal observation that lymphoid cells rearrange their antigen receptor genes and recurrent genetic rearrangements are present myeloid neoplasms. In this chapter, I review history cancer, describe scientific principles which clonality-based rest, then numerous now available for diagnosing hematolymphoid by demonstrating clonal nature.
