摘要: Variance components were estimated from an animal model using a restricted maximum likelihood procedure which allowed for unequal design matrices and missing observations (VCE). Data sets containing: (i) 15 275 records of linear type classifications on heifers, (ii) 3399 live weight condition scores measured at calving (iii) 1157 yield, dry-matter intake, average score during the first 26 weeks lactation; analysed jointly. Heritability estimates in largest data set 0·44, 0·44 0·35 respectively genetic correlation between yield traits ranged −0·29 to −0·46. The milk was negative (−0·09) but after adjusting variation this positive (0·29). Genetic correlations stature, chest width, body depth rump width consistently high (0·52 0·64; 0·75 0·86; 0·59 0·81; 0·56 0·74, respectively). Chest little moderately correlated with intake (0·25 0·28 0·20 0·34 respectively), angularity (−0·47 −0·77) (0·32 0·73) appeared be good predictors score. These showed that relative value compared food capacity determines optimum direction selection angularity, consequently size dairy cow, weight, can predicted loss accuracy. A index maintains its current level reduce overall (economic) gain by 5%.
