摘要: The electronic absorption spectra of single crystals pyrene, chrysene, azulene, coronene and tetracene have been measured by a polarized light. Some crystal bands exhibit appreciable splittings changes in intensity relations according to the simple exciton theory. Those results are explained use second-order calculation without inclusion electron overlap effect. theoretical give fairly reasonable explanation spectra, it has shown that mixing excited states plays an essential role modifying from pattern free molecule.
