摘要: Abstract Neutron activation analysis was employed to determine the abundances of I, Te and U in seven bronzite hypersthene chondrites, three enstatite chondrites two carbonaceous chondrites. On basis twenty-three analyses, mean p.p.m. for groups were: iodine, 0.040, 0.17 0.27; tellurium, 0.51, 2.1 1.9; uranium, 0.013, 0.011 0.017. In meteoritic iron (four analyses), these covered a wider range, i.e. 11–320, 17–90 I are strongly correlated, appear reside (in part) same phase, tentatively identified as CaS or MgS. Four meteorites present study had been previously analysed by von Fellenberg . His values found be uniformly too high factors 5–30. It seems likely that most data his fundamental geochemistry iodine systematically comparable factors.
