摘要: Colonoscopy and polypectomy effectively reduce the incidence mortality of colorectal cancer, but some patients present with fully developed cancers within 1-4 yr a colonoscopy that apparently cleared colon neoplasia. These events may result in medical-legal action against colonoscopists, generally based on an assumption negligent technical performance procedure. Alternative explanations for development interval include variable growth rates cancers, inherent miss rate procedure even when optimal examination techniques are used, possibility flat lesions not readily detected by standard colonoscopic techniques. This paper discusses issues relevant to reduction risks associated after clearing colonoscopy. informed consent, documentation cecal intubation, appropriate description preparation, time technique, attention potential atypical neoplasms.
